Citrus farmworkers vow to challenge stoppage decree

Infighting and lack of funding cripple once-thriving farm

Workers at one of SA’s biggest citrus farms believe that their worst fears of the farm shutting down might come should management fail to secure funds to keep it running.  

About 272 workers at Zebediela Citrus Estate outside Polokwane in Limpopo, who are being represented by the Food and Allied Workers Union (Fawu), were told to stop reporting for duty as of December 1 until further notice...
