As mop-up operations started in the mining town of Jagersfontein in the Free State with residents picking up the pieces, provincial emergency services personnel and police divers are faced with a mammoth task of finding two people believed to have been swept away on Sunday.

Three teams are sifting through about 15km of mud, trying to find traces of a man and woman who are believed to have been swept away while in their homes in Charlesville...
