Club World Cup draw all set

FIFA hosts the draw for the Club World Cup in Morocco tonight at 9pm, an event with more than just a passing interest for Orlando Pirates.

Although the club failed to win at home at the weekend in the African Champions League semifinal against Esperance, they are still in the running for the title - and a berth in December's prestigious tournament for all continental champions.

Five of the seven teams who will take part in the competition are already known: Atletico Mineiro from Brazil, Auckland City from New Zealand, Bayern Munich from Germany, Monterrey from Mexico and Raja Casablanca from the host country.

The teams representing Asia and Africa must still be determined. The Club World Cup venues are Marrakech, where the draw is being held tonight, and Agadir.

The tournament will be held from December 11 to 21.
