Domestic violence claimed the lives of two women over the long weekend.
Police arrested a man, 58, after he allegedly stabbed his wife, 54, several times in the head and neck after they had a disagreement.
She was killed on the spot in their Mhluzi township house near Middelburg on Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, another woman in her 20s died when her husband, 24, allegedly pushed her out of a moving car on the N4 highway near Witbank on Friday night.
Both men are expected to appear in court on murder charges today.
