Santos' wishes of finishing in the top four at the end of the season look bright as long as they collect maximum points in their remaining matches and maintain their impressive perfomance.

The People's Team outclassed Lamontville Golden Arrows before beating them 3-1 in an Absa Premiership encounter played at Athlone Stadium, Cape Town, on Saturday evening,

The host team's mentor, David Bright, was full of praise for his charges who were registering their fith victory since the season resumed after the festive break.

"The guys are responding well and if you have noticed, they are playing according to the game plan, hence the positive results. We will continue winning until the last game as we want to be in the top four at the end of the season," said a jubilant Bright.

Suprisingly, Arrow's coach, Manqoba Mngqithi, was also happy with his team's perfomance and vowed that they will bounce back despite losing two games within seven days.

"Congratulations to Santos, but I thought we played well though we were let down by poor finishing. We should have wrapped the game up in the first half. Those who play us next must be ready, we are wounded and we want to restore our shattered image," warned Mngqithi.

Santos took the lead in the 67th minute when Erwin Isaacs converted a through pass from defender Wayne Arendse.

Arrows equalised via substitute Lindani Buthelezi in the 70th minute. Two minutes later, Santos' Ryan Chapman who replaced Sebastian Bax in the 54th minute, saw his curling 20 metre drive restoring the lead after a throw-in by Bevan Fransch.

Santos' Eleazar Rodgers sealed the game when he scored the third goal in the 89th minute.
