Savannah animals

MANY different animals live on the savannah. There are spiders, scorpions and lizards, which eat the many insects that live in the grass.

There are birds that enjoy the beetles, lizards and mice that make their home in the savannah.

Then there are the bigger animals, such as herds of antelope, wildebeest and zebra, that eat the grass and shrubs.

And, of course, there are the carnivores, including lions, leopards and hyenas. - My Animal Kingdom, De Agostini
