COMMENT: Men must learn to solve conflict, not kill in anger

I READ with disgust about a man who strangled his wife because he suspected she cheated on him. Sadly, the woman had a six-week-old baby.

Was the man's conscience not talking to him while he strangled her? Did he think of the baby?

Why didn't he confront the situation and find out whether she was really having an affair?

Now that his wife is dead, the baby has no mother and he is heading to jail. What did he achieve?

It is unfortunate that we still have men who are not man enough to face situations, who fail to admit that all good things come to an end, and who choose to kill in anger rather than to resolve conflict.
