Golden Arrows midfielder Nduduzo Sibiya is concerned as they will be facing a wounded Kaizer Chiefs side with no clue how interim coach Cavin Johnson will approach the game.

Arrows will host Chiefs in the DStv Premiership match at Mpumalanga Stadium, Hammarsdale, on Saturday (3.30pm).

Johnson was named the interim coach on Monday after Amakhosi parted ways with Molefi Ntseki following their defeat to AmaZulu in the Carling Knockout.

“We don’t know what kind of game plan Cavin Johnson will bring and that can be a challenge for us. But if we prepare well, things will be fine,” Sibiya told reporters during the club media day yesterday.

“We don’t know what he is planning and Chiefs would not want to lose another game. It will be tough since they lost and we don’t want them to turn [things around] against us.”

Arrows have enjoyed a good start in the league this season, with five wins from eight games, losing once and drawing two. They are also in the last eight of the Carling Knockout after beating Cape Town City at the weekend.

Sibiya, 28, said they plan to win all their home matches this campaign and their great start is because of what they have been doing at training.

“What I can say is what we are doing at training, we are seeing it at games, we can get points and win,” he said.

“We planned to start well this season as you can see, we are collecting points. When we play at home, our focus is a win and if not, then a draw.

“But again, we want to win all the games at home.”

Sibiya added that everyone is motivated to face Amakhosi but will treat it like any other game.

“We treat every game equal, not that we are playing against Chiefs, then we have to be special, but that they have a new coach we are worried about.”
