It’s great to be back- Khune

Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune says he is happy to back at the club following a goalless draw against Chippa United in an Absa Premiership clash on Saturday at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

The 28-year-old shot stopper added that he was pleased with how Chiefs supporters welcomed him for the first time since he signed a new contract.

"It is a pleasure to don the gold and black of Chiefs. It is always a great feeling for any player to be back on the field," Khune told the club official website.

"Running through the tunnel and to smell the pitch grass is like opening your office door."

"We spend most of our time on the pitch, it's like an office for us. The welcome from the stands was warm hence I felt comfortable during the match. We always want to reward the supporters."
