Thabang Matuka joins Celtic

Bloemfontein Celtic have signed former Maritzburg United midfielder Thabang Matuka on a 3 year deal ahead of their 2015/16 campaign.

Thabang Matuka said: “I'm really happy that I will get to play in front of the brilliant Siwelele fans on a weekly basis for the next 3 years".

Siwelele have already announced the signing of Ugandan international striker Geoffrey Massa from University of Pretoria on a three-year deal, a move which has delighted coach Clinton Larsen.

“Thabang has been our target. The coach Clinton Larson is thrilled that we have signed such incredibly talented player," said Celtic Chairman Max Tshabalala.

"He is a workaholic and his immeasurable work ethic and sheer determination will see him succeed at the team.

“I have known him as a young boy and have been proud to seen him represent the country at the national under-20," said Tshabalala.
