Four teams to face PSL's DC

THE Premier Soccer League's disciplinary committee will hear four cases in the week beginning April 14, the league has announced.

Former Ajax Cape Town chairman John Comitis and the club will appear to face a charge of bringing the league into disrepute. "(This follows) comments attributed to Comitis that were [published] on a football website," the PSL said in a statement.

Also set to appear before the DC are National First Division side Maluti FET College. "The club has been charged with contravening the PSL Compliance Manual after a representative failed to arrive on time for the pre-match meeting ahead of their NFD fixture against Chippa United on 14 March at the Philippi Stadium."

AmaZulu and their chairman Patrick Sokhela will also be hauled before the DC on charges of "attempting to attack and insulting a match official Kulasande Qongqo" during AmaZulu's Premiership fixture against Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium. AmaZulu won that match 3-1.

Bloemfontein Celtic, meanwhile, are alleged to have contravened Rule 10.5 of the Premier Soccer League's rules by not giving their opponents, SuperSport United, access to their change room ahead of their fixture at Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium on Sunday.
