Black Aces back in the PSL

THE people of Mpumalanga went to sleep last night content after the return to the province of top-flight football.

This after Mpumalanga Black Aces won the National First Division play-offs with a match to spare.

The Absa Premiership returnees drew 0-0 against pretenders Chippa United at the Cape Town Stadium, and their last match against Santos at home on Saturday will be a formality.

AmaZayoni return to the PSL after two seasons in the NFD.

Coach Jacob "Cellular" Sakala said the support they received from all the people of Mpumalanga was crucial in their success.

"I want to thank everybody who stood behind us, including our premier in Mpumalanga," said an emotional Sakala in a post-match interview.

The players, meanwhile, went into wild celebrations.
