JOMO Cosmos owner-coach Jomo Sono says they will treat their home match against Dynamos with caution, especially after they were defeated by Vasco da Gama over the weekend.

The match will be played at Johannesburg Stadium today. Kickoff is at 3.30pm.

Sono said they could not afford to lose another match.

"We played well against Vasco. Unfortunately luck was not on our side. We will work very hard although we expect a tough challenge. The fact of the matter is that all the matches are tough," said Sono yesterday.

Sono will rely on his sons Bamuza and Matsilele Jnr, as well as veteran campaigner Lethola "Kanu" Mofokeng to collect maximum points.

Dynamos coach Joel Masutha said they expected a very tough challenge from a Cosmos side stung by the weekend's defeat.

"Based on what was displayed by our players during our match against Milano United, we are confident that we will fight for maximum points. Some of our new recruits will feature in today's match," Masutha said yesterday.

Dynamos have capable players in captain Tshepo Mabitsela, Thamsanqa "Gusheshe" Tibe and the inspirational midfielder Markus Kok who could lead them to victory.

Soccer fans are in for another free treat as gates have been thrown open for today's tie.

Cosmos staff are giving out free tickets to interested fans in the Johannesburg CBD.

Meanwhile, log leaders Mpumalanga Black Aces are expected to maintain their lead when they visit Polokwane City at the University of Limpopo's Oscar Mpetha Stadium also today, with kickoff at 4.30pm.

The rest of today's fixtures are:Puma Rugby Stadium: Witbank Spurs vs Sivutsa Stars; Botshabelo Stadium: Roses United vs FC Cape Town; Charles Mopeli Stadium: African Warriors v Santos; Parow Park: Vasco da Gama vs United FC; Grassy Park Stadium: Milano United vs Thanda Royal Zulu FC (All matches start at 3.30pm); Buffalo City Stadium: Blackburn Rovers vs FC AK (7.30pm).
