Hoffenheim in bid for Musona

GERMAN Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have made a R16million offer to Kaizer Chiefs for the services of golden striker Knowledge Musona.

Chiefs general manager Bobby Motaung is off to Germany this weekend for negotiations with Hoffen-heim, who have made up their mind about acquiring the Zimbabwean.

"I will meet officials of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and if the talks are successful, the transfer of Knowledge will be done on the spot,' Motaung said.

"Knowledge will be back to feature in the Vodacom Challenge and Carling Black Label Cup if there is no agreement."

Motaung refused to talk about the reported invitation for Musona to go on trials with Glasgow Rangers.
