There is a huge leadership vacuum in SA, particularly in Gauteng. We are a country that accepts mediocrity. We are content with low standards, and when given a chance to assess and nominate possible leaders, we do not go for results.
The celebration of Panyaza Lesufi as one of the most prominent leaders in Gauteng leaves me mind-boggled. Quite frankly and contrary to popular belief, he shouldn’t even be a candidate for the premiership...
