So long, but it was a dream come true writing in Sowetan

A friend of mine have a long-standing joke about how for a long time author Chimamanda Ngozi-Adiche would start most of her talks with "my father was a university professor".

I laugh but I am sure there are people who have probably counted the number of times I start things with "my dad" or the interview questions whose answers almost always includes something about my father...
