NEBO police are investigating the the death of a woman whose body was found in a pit toilet.
The incident took place at Maswiakae village near Jane Furse on Wednesday morning.
Limpopo police spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Mohale Ramatseba said the body of the unidentified woman, believed to have been in her late 20s, was found at about 9am.
Ramatseba said: "Preliminary investigations reveal that the victim was stoned and her body dragged to the toilet.
"We appeal to people to assist us in identifying the body. We are also investigating the motive for the killing," Ramatseba said.
He said the woman was allegedly last seen with her boyfriend, Griffiths Nyaku Maroga, at St Rita's Hospital in Nebo.
