Soweto man stabbed his lover to death, then ripped open the ceiling of her house and hanged himself
The attack by the 34-year-old former policeman - who had a wife and children - took place at the house the lover shared with her mother in Mohlakeng, Randfontein.
Recalling the lurid details of the discovery of her daughter Nyakallo Moletsane's body, Moitheri Moletsane said she had just arrived from visiting her mother in Kagiso.
"The house was in darkness when I arrived, so I switched on the lights. On entering her bedroom, I saw she had been wrapped in a blanket. Pulling back the blanket, I saw she had been stabbed viciously in the neck."
