It appeared she was strangled on Wednesday, allegedly by her boyfriend, said Inspector Kay Makhubele.
"The suspect called the woman's mother on Wednesday evening and told her to go and pick up the body of her daughter under a bed in the shack," he said.
When the woman's mother arrived at the shack with the police they found the body where the man has said it would be.
The woman's mother last saw her when she left their Dobsonville home for a weekend visit with the man.
The police are still in the dark about the motive for the murder and are investigating.
The man, believed to be a foreigner, was being sought by police. - Sapa
