West Rand police spokesman Captain Sphiwe Ndlovu said there were no new developments in the case by 11am on Tuesday. The two men were shot and killed on the N1 south, near Randburg, between the Malibongwe and Beyers Naude off-ramps. Their bodies were discovered around 9pm by Randburg police after police were notified of a shooting in the area.
A witness told police that two men in a Ssangyung Musso were stopped at the roadside. Four men in a Mitsubishi Pajero stopped near them and jumped out. The men in the Musso also jumped out and were shot down by men from the Pajero. - Sapa
