Farewell night vigil for flock

The Isihlahla Sokhuphumla Church of Zion in Zonkizizwe informal settlement, Katlehong, Ekurhuleni held a night vigil on Saturday to bid farewell to some members.

Reverend Jabulani Dube said the service was meant to say goodbye to some members who will be returning home after an album recording session.

"We pray that the Lord protects you on your way home and brings you back in good condition next year. Next year is a challenging year for us as far as promoting our album is concerned. We must carry on from where we left," he said.

Dressed in blue and white the members of the church invaded the sleepy streets of the settlement to launch their second album titled Mina Ngiye Themba.

They were joined by Ekukhanyeni Church from the same settlement. The Ekukhanyeni Church's reverend Lucas Thwala wished them well." This a good example for us all to follow," said Thwala.
