They are WBC International lightweight champion Ali Funeka, who has been given the nod to challenge for the coveted WBC belt if he wins his elimination bout against Colombian veteran Antonio Pitalua or Philippines' bomber, Randy Suico.

This was disclosed by Funeka's promoter Branco Milenkovic.

Speaking from Manila, Milenkovic said: "It will depend on who is available between Pitalua and Suico."

The 37-year-old Colombian has scored an astonishing 35 knockouts in 41 wins against three losses. He has won all his last nine bouts by knockouts.

Suico has scored 23 knockouts in 27 victories, with three losses.

Also lucky is WBC International bantamweight champion Vusi Malinga, who has been approved to contest for the elimination bout against Thailand's Veeraphol Nakhonluang. - Sapa
