Needs are being ignored

There have been protests over the lack of service delivery in almost all the provinces, but unfortunately the outcome of these protests is that people are getting injured.

There have been protests over the lack of service delivery in almost all the provinces, but unfortunately the outcome of these protests is that people are getting injured.

I strongly believe that most councillors are misleading the communities they represent.

This is either because they lack the necessary skills and knowledge to represent their communities at the highest level of government or they are just corrupt.

My appeal to councillors is that if they want to avoid what happened at the Chicken Farm settlement, they must stop being corrupt and start delivering as they promise to during election campaigns

They must always have the best interests of the community at heart . They must not forget the needs of the communities that trust them to represent them and they must stop having big heads and enriching themselves through corruption.

What happened at Kliptown on Monday reminded South Africans of the past and it shows that our leaders are not paying attention to the people's concerns.
