I hope Bidvest Wits' management has learnt a lesson - that you can't make Kaizer Chiefs feel like they are playing away in South Africa.
They should have taken the game to Johannesburg Stadium and donated the gate takings because they don't seem to need the money.
Their theory of maintaining home advantage does not hold water because we know the majority of students were Chiefs fans masquerading as Wits fans.
