Moulana Farhad Ahmed Dockrat, a Muslim cleric from Pretoria, and his cousin, Junaid Ismail Dockrat, a dentist from Mayfair, were accused of being "terrorist financiers" by the US.
Both men denied the allegations, Sunday Times reported.
It said the US refused to divulge evidence as it would expose their intelligence-gathering methods.
Director of the Human Sciences Research Council Adam Habib, who was denied entry into the US last year, said that with their names on the list, the two men face having their assets and bank accounts frozen and will not be allowed to trade or travel anywhere in the world. - Sapa
