Fans of French marque Citroën will delight in the arrival of the C3 Aircross. If money is no object, perhaps the open-air Ferrari Roma Spider is on the cards for you in 2024. A more attainable Italian prospect comes in the form of the latest Fiat 500, the reinvented, electric rendition of the popular favourite.

It will be a big one for American automaker Ford, launching the plug-in hybrid version of its Ranger, plus Platinum and Tremor editions. The next Mustang is coming to town, so are the new Tourneo and Transit. Keep an eye out for the return of the Territory.

Great Wall Motors (GWM) is diversifying its P-Series bakkie range with a hybrid version. Hyundai is preparing for the upgraded i20 and Tucson, in addition to the Santa Fe, new from the ground-up. Isuzu is reviving the X-Rider edition of the D-Max, with updates for the LSE and V-Cross grades, rounded off by a new single-cab.

A quiet year for Jaguar, with two high-performance entrants on the cards: the rare F-Type ZP and F-Pace 575 Edition.

Jeep is readying refreshments for the Wrangler and Gladiator bakkie. From Kia, anticipate the updated Picanto, Seltos and Sorento. The manic Lamborghini Revuelto will make its debut on local shores. Fancy a new Range Rover Sport? The SV Edition One has been confirmed for our market.

In 2024 Lexus will give us the hybrid version of its striking LC 500 grand tourer, while the UX is expected to gain specification changes.

It is a significant one for niche sports car firm Lotus, as they release their first electric vehicle, the Eletre.

Maserati is also bracing for electrification, with the Grecale, in addition to Trofeo and Modena versions of the GranTurismo.

If you thought the Mazda CX-60 needed something more, a high-grade Takumi version might address that.

New from Mercedes-Benz, are facelifts of the GLE, GLA, GLB and GLS, as well as the new E-Class and G-Class. In the Mercedes-AMG arena, the C63, GT63, GLC63 and GLC43 are compelling prospects.
