Jasa can make you business savvy

SCHOOL-GOING youth wishing to gain business knowledge should consider giving the nearest Junior Achievement South Africa (Jasa) office a call.

Jasa's programmes are designed to prepare participating would-be entrepreneurs for life after school by:

* Raising the youths' awareness about economic issues;

* Teaching the youths entrepreneurial and life skills;

* Providing the youngsters with an understanding of the business world;

* Improving the level of employability of young people and encouraging personal growth by development of leadership, team work and self-management skills; and

* Increasing the capacity of young people to enter tertiary education, in particular to study business management and commerce subjects by developing numeracy and literacy skills.
