The German sportswear label has relaunched its 'mi adidas' customized footwear with digital print options for the Adidas Originals ZX Flux shape.

Adidas is set to let customers design their own pair of sneakers featuring high resolution photo prints, all from the comfort of their smartphone.

Adidas has announced a new app that will let sneakerheads upload any image to create a hi-res photo print version of the Adidas Originals ZX Flux model. Like the Nike iD platform, 'mi adidas' offers a range of color and material choices for many of the brand's classic shoes. The digital photo prints are all new though.

It's a cool option for sneaker fans who enjoy customizing their shoes to the max, allowing you to create and order a completely one-of-kind custom pair of sneakers. The innovation follows on from the ZX Flux Photo Print Prism shoe released in April, which came in a range of pre-set digital print options.

The app will be available for iPhone and Android from August 2014.
