Michelle Obama teams up with rappers to fight obesity

As part of her "Let's Move" campaign against the obesity epidemic in the US, Michelle Obama has turned to a number of rappers to release a new hip-hop album, "Songs for a Healthier America." The album will be released in September.

For this inspirational album, which will be distributed in schools in New York and other major US cities, Michelle Obama has enlisted the help of artists from the world of hip-hop, including Jordin Sparks, Ashanti, Run DMC, Doug E. Fresh and Monifah.

The First Lady is expected to appear in the videos on the disc, although she leaves the rapping to the professionals. "Songs for a Healthier America" includes 19 original tracks, including "U R What You Eat" and "Veggie Luv."
