Speak Out about your consumer issues

AFTER assisting many people last year the SABC2 consumer rights show, Speak Out, is back for a new season.

Resolving consumer issues and speaking for the voiceless, the show returns tomorrow at 9.30pm.

Speak Out will be presented by two new presenters, Duncan Senye and Vuyelwa Booi of7de Laan fame. The two are replacing the seasoned and experienced Dosto Noge.

The show helps consumers who are victimised by businesses and service providers. Speak Out expertly finds solutions to consumers' problem.

The programme investigates cases and the end results usually educate and empower viewers without becoming too preachy.

Speak Out sets out to challenge businesses and service providers on behalf of the man and the woman on the street and to investigate civic issues that affect everyone. The viewers also benefit by gaining information and understanding their rights.

With strong investigative research behind them, the Speak Out team will continue to expose bad service and teach consumers how to handle such situations themselves.

Viewers will see retailers and service providers cause drama and throw tantrums when they are cornered about their wrongdoings.

Lebo Malete of SABC2 publicity says: "We believe this is one show that has helped many consumers who faced serious problems.

"With the new season the show continues solving problems and helping ordinary citizens.

"Duncan and Vuyelwa, who are the driving force behind this informative consumer show, will certainly take the programme to the next level."
