Mamelodi Sundowns' veteran midfielder Surprise Moriri, pictured, has no intention of retiring just yet.
The 36-year-old's contract expired last month and he is currently in discussions with Sundowns management to see whether he can continue to play for the club he joined in 2004 from Silver Stars (now Platinum Stars).
"We are in discussion with Surprise at the moment, trying to see what the way forward will be.
"It's always a difficult decision (to quit playing) for any player. In his heart of hearts, I think, he still wants to play. We will have discussions in private. We will make an announcement once we have reached a conclusion," said Sundowns' general manager, Sizwe Nzimande.
Kudakwashe Mahachi, who was recently linked to Kaizer Chiefs, is back at Downs and looks set to be sent out on loan again because they see the 22-year-old Zimbabwean as one for the future.
Mahachi was at Golden Arrows last season where he made 25 appearances and scored four goals in all competitions.
"Kuda has been bought back by Sundowns. He was declared a free agent and went to Golden Arrows. We sat with Arrows and were able to bring him back on our books," said Nzimande.
"A great way of learning for Sundowns was through Keagan Dolly. He was from our academy and we let him go to join Ajax Cape Town."
