Ex-Pirates star arrested for car theft

The suspect who is said to be a former Orlando Pirates midfielder has allegedly been arrested after being found driving a stolen car.

It was reported that police arrested who was driving a white hatchback VW Polo with a fake licence plate and a fake licence disc.

"He has been charged with fraud and possession of a suspected stolen vehicle," Motsiri quoted saying on The Star newspaper.

It is not known when the suspect would appear in court.
