SuperSport United have confirmed the signings of former Bafana Bafana defender Bongani Khumalo and Fagrie Lakay.
Khumalo was part of squad that played in a pre-season Cape Town Cup tournament a week ago.
"SuperSport United is delighted to confirm the signings of Bongani Khumalo and Fagrie Lakay on a three- and four-year deal respectively," the club said on their official website.
The 28 year-old defender arrives at United following a four-year spell in the English Premiership with Tottenham Hotspur.
"Khumalo is an important piece in the jigsaw,” says club Chief Executive Officer, Stan Matthews.
"We were looking for a centre-back type, like Khumalo. He’s physical, strong and experienced in this league. He already has a proven record and there are good things to come from him. He is exactly what we need."
The 18 year-old Lakay joins Matsatsantsa from national first division side, Santos.
