Orlando Pirates coach Roger de Sa is hoping his charges will pack their scoring boots when they meet AmaZulu in Durban tomorrow night.
Scheduled to take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium at 7.30pm, this Absa Premiership clash is part of the catch-up programme for the goal-shy Pirates.
When Pirates lost 2-1 to SuperSport United at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, they squandered so many scoring opportunities that United coach Cavin Johnson suggested they should have won the game by 12 goals.
"The technical staff is working on that issue [failure to convert chances into goals] at training," said De Sa.
"We need to start scoring goals and winning games convincingly at home too. Our record is good in away matches.
"I'm confident we will come back home three points richer from Durban, and it's not that we're underestimating AmaZulu," said the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper.
This will be the second clash between the two sides this season.
AmaZulu striker Bongani Ndulula scored a solitary goal against his former employers in August in the first round.
Usuthu coach Craig Rosslee, who has previously worked for Bucs, is equally confident his charges will make it two in a row against the Soweto giants.
"It will be a tough game against a team that is looking to catch up in the league, and they have a big team in terms of strength and quality. Our objective is to make sure that we get the three points," said Roslee on the club's website.
Sowetan has learnt that Ghanaian goalkeeper Fatau Dauda will travel with the Pirates team to Durban for the game.
Pressure is mounting on Dauda - who joined Pirates at the beginning of the season but is still to feature in an official game - to start playing to be included in the Ghana 2014 World Cup squad in Brazil.
In December, Dauda was reported to be on his way to Lamontville Golden Arrows on loan, but the KwaZulu-Natal side have since convinced well-travelled Arthur Bartman to come out of retirement.
