HIGH-FLYING Moroka Swallows and SuperSport United are chasing dribbling wizard Dikgang "Terminator" Mabalane.

His business manager, Thabo Moloto, would not name names, but said a club in "Johannesburg and the other from Tshwane" were interested in the player.

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly enquired about Mabalane, but club general manager Bobby Motaung was quick to deny that the player was on their radar. Mabalane is a free agent after being released after four years by Orlando Pirates late on Tuesday. The closure of the transfer window does not affect free agents.

"I have heard about another one from Johannesburg that was keen to sign him, but they have not approached me directly," said Moloto.

Mabalane was part of the Pirates team that achieved successive trebles in 2011 and 2012, but doubt about his future arose when Pirates gave him permission to join a team of his choice and he went to Swallows. He resurfaced at Pirates after training with Swallows for almost two weeks. Mabalane started his soccer career at Jomo Cosmos almost 14 years ago after he was spotted by club owner-coach Jomo Sono at a development tournament.

He later went on to join Matsatsantsa a Pitori. Subsequent to that, Mabalane played for Maritzburg United before going to Pirates.
