Use AI to prevent archive tapes becoming obsolete and unreadable

Every year on October 27, archivists celebrate the World Day for Audiovisual Heritage as declared by Unesco since 2005 to raise awareness on the significance and preservation risks of recorded sound and audiovisual documents (films, sound and video recordings, radio, and television programmes).

The theme for this year, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Memory of the World (MoW) programme is: "Your window to the world: enlisting documentary heritage to promote inclusive, just and peaceful societies."..
