A man was killed on Saturday night when he lost control of his vehicle and it plunged off a bridge and landed on train tracks in Cato Ridge in KwaZulu-Natal.
Paramedics said it was understood the vehicle rolled several times after plunging several metres close to Alice Goswell Road.
“Upon arrival paramedics found the man partially ejected from the vehicle that was laying on its roof‚” said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing Harduth.
“Upon assessment of the man believed to be in his 20’s‚ it was found that he has sustained multiple injuries. Sadly there was nothing that could be done for him and he was declared dead. Fire and Rescue was on scene to remove the man from the vehicle‚” she said.
