Six children‚ aged between 9 and 12‚ sustained minor injuries when a taxi and light motor vehicle collided head-on this morning. An adult was also slightly hurt‚ ER24 said on Monday.
The accident happened on Mfume Road in Umgabba‚ KwaZulu-Natal.
ER24 paramedics who responded to the accident said: “Fortunately no serious injuries were reported on scene. Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to a nearby hospital for further treatment.”
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
