WATCH: Nurse punches and bites an infant

A video has recently emerged showing a nurse beating and bitting an infant at a hospital.
The CCTV footage shows the clearly angry nurse hysterically punching the infant before giving the baby milk.
The nurse, Emiliya Kovacheva has admitted to hitting the four-days old infant stating that she was frustrated during her 24-hour shift at Sofia Med Hospital in Bulgaria because the baby could not stop crying.
She said that the baby could not sleep and she was punishing the infant for waking other babies in the room.
The child suffered severe injuries but the hospital spokesperson maintains the child will recover.
Kovacheva has been charged with attempted murder and could face up to 20 years in prison.
