R100 reward offered in cop killing

A R100,000 reward is being offered for information that could lead to the conviction of those responsible for the killing of a police constable in Erasmia, Centurion, Gauteng police said on Saturday.

The policeman attended to a house robbery which was still in progress on Friday when he was shot three times in the upper body, Lieutenant Kay Makhubela said.

The robbers fled in a blue Audi A4 with Gauteng number plates.

Police appealed to anyone with information relating to the case to come forward.
