Appeal to Kotze's 'victims'

POLICE have asked the three men believed to have been forced at gunpoint by Modimolle resident Johan Kotze to assault a woman to help with the investigation.

The men had "nothing to fear", but the police needed their input in the ongoing search for Kotze, Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said yesterday.

Kotze has been on the run since he allegedly orchestrated an attack on a woman in her home and killing her son, Conrad Bonnette, 19, a week ago.

The three men, who allegedly carried out Kotze's instructions while held at gunpoint, were employed by him.

Mulaudzi said the men were victims of a crime and were probably traumatised.

"We don't know what has happened to them. We appeal to them to come forward and make themselves known to the police."
