The retail price of all grades of petrol would increase by 29 cents on May 4, the energy department announced.
The price of diesel with a 0.05 and 0.005% sulphur content would increase by 16 cents a litre.
The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin would increase by 15 cents a litre. The single maximum national retail price for illuminating paraffin would increase by 20 cents a litre.
