The Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart hitmaker - who gave birth to Egypt, her first son with husband Swizz Beatz, on October 14 - can't stop staring at the baby because she has become fascinated with the human body.
Writing on her blog, she said: "I'm most enamoured with anatomy at this point. The miracle of the human body.
"The ability to create all these small amazing machines of veins, capillaries, digestive systems, eyes and nose.
"I can spend hours looking at one little ear. Have you ever noticed how complex just an ear is? A tiny maze of art."
The 29-year-old singer also believed her son had the most "beautiful face" she had ever seen and said his birth has confirmed her belief in God.
She said: "I've never seen a more beautiful face in my life."
