RISING star Andile Jali says Bafana Bafana must show Namibia the stars in Durban tomorrow night to continue winning the hearts of their fans.

Bafana are chasing their third successive win over a fellow southern African country after whipping Swaziland and Zimbabwe 6-2 and 3-0, respectively. They are still to taste defeat since the return of Brazilian coach Carlos Alberto Parreira after playing to two goalless draws against Japan and Jamaica in November.

Jali said: "There is light at the end of the tunnel for Bafana Bafana. The most important thing for us at this stage is consistency. We have to continue winning our matches so that South Africa can believe in us. It will be tough against Namibia because they have selected some of their overseas-based players, they also have a strong contingent plying their trade in South Africa."

Thulani Serero said: "This is a big week for South Africa. We cannot afford to spoil the big celebrations. We are going for a hat trick against Southern Africa teams at the expense of Namibia."

Midfielder Teko Modise, who will captain the team tomorrow, said the support Bafana Bafana always get in Durban "is incredible".

"We will not be taking our opponents for granted. Our aim is to win. I have been training hard and hope the performance will come during the match," he said.

Parreira will announce his squad for two crucial camps in Brazil and Germany on Thursday.
