This is the title of a new campaign unveiled by German sports apparel company Adidas for South Africans to rally behind Bafana Bafana ahead of the 2010 Fifa World Cup.

Zobuzwe Ngobese, the company's public relations manager, said the campaign was one of its contributions towards a successful World Cup.

"It is also a rallying cry coined by Adidas to inspire the nation and emphasise the need for South Africans to get behind the 2010 Fifa World Cup, considering we are the first African country to host it.

"The Unite Mzansi Unite campaign will also inspire South Africans as a nation by wearing yellow," Ngobese said yesterday.

Ngobese also announced that his company has designed a huge Bafana Bafana jersey, measuring 60m x 48m, as a platform for South Africans to show their support.

"The entire nation, from schoolchildren, taxi drivers, academics and celebrities will have the opportunity to sign the giant jersey.

"It will be transported in a truck to all the World Cup host cities between now and May 2010. There will be many prizes to be won during the nationwide tour."

Also present at the lunch yesterday were former players Helman Mkhalele, Marks Maponyane, Isaac Kungwane and Papi Khomane. Mkhalele said: "The campaign is a great one and should be supported by all of us."
