FIFA REFEREES FOR THE CONFEDERATIONS CUP

Fifa yesterday released the list of referees and assistant referees selected for the Confederations Cup in South Africa from June 14 to 28.

Minus the South Africa duo of Jerome Damon and Enock Molefe, who did not make the grade, the selected officials include six Africans.

However, Damon and Molefe are still hopeful that they will be part of the historic 2010 World Cup.
