There are now seven Idols contestants after Lizé Heerman was kicked out of the competition last night.

Even though Lizé sang her heart out, that was not good enough to win the votes of the public - who have the final word in terms of who remains and who gets booted.

And last night's show had surprises too.

For example, the Idols judges have no say over this year's results, but so far Gareth Cliff's predictions have been spot-on three weeks in a row.

When the judges revealed their opinions in last night's show, Randall and Mara Louw thought Graeme would have to go. But Gareth thought it would be 21-year-old Lizé Heerman and Dave agreed with him - and they were right.

When the results of the nationwide radio listeners' vote were revealed, only Algoa FM's listeners correctly predicted that Lizé would go home. Jacaranda FM's Martin Bester said his listeners thought last night would be the end of the road for Graeme.

And East Coast Radio's Damon Beard, KFM Ryan O' Connor and OFM's Kenzy Vinco, all thought it would be Lendel's turn.
