'I WAS EXPECTING TO BE KICKED OUT'
Idols contestant Ntsepa Pitjeng, pictured, who was kicked out of the M-Net competition on Monday, says she was not surprised by the outcome as she had been expecting it.
"I actually felt that this was the day for me to be out of the contest. I don't know how, but I had no doubt that I was going to be the one out. I knew that in this competition some people would lose and others would win. This time it was me who lost.
"I am going back to my old job as an actress in industrial theatre. I am also looking forward to being approached by a record label to see if we cannot work out something," she said yesterday.
The singer from Johannesburg, however, said she had fun in the competition. She befriended quite a number of people, while the competition had given her an opportunity to know herself better.
"I liked particularly the guys because they were quite warm and down to earth. They were really incredible. Guys like Jason and Cameron were nice," she said.
This was the second time she was trying her luck, having entered the singing competition in 2007. She went as far as the second round of the auditions then.
"But at the time I was just too busy with work and therefore could not continue the competition."
