Government must consult all citizens

I believe that voting is a democratic right that should be practised by all South African citizens.

I believe that voting is a democratic right that should be practised by all South African citizens.

The notion that people who do not vote should not have a say about how a country is run is diabolical, to say the least.

Citizens should have a say when they feel and see things going wrong, irrespective of whether they had voted or not.

Anyway, given what is happening in the country at the moment, it does not seem as if those who have cast their vote have any say in what the government is doing.

There are a lot of issues and changes that are made by the ruling party, but no consultation with the voters is made.

So what purpose does it serve to vote if things are going to be done without consultation with the grassroots anyway?
