The woman drugged and raped by a suspected serial rapist after a trip to McDonald's said last night that she was delighted she had helped other women come out in the open.

"I'm happy that I decided to talk about it. I know it takes a brave person to do it. But I felt violated, I felt sick with what he did to me.

"It crossed my mind that the man could have done the same to other unsuspecting women. I'm happy for those who noticed the story in the Sowetan and decided to approach the police. This monster must be stopped.

"He is lying low now, but he certainly could be out there drugging another woman and violating her.

"When police finally find him and put him behind bars, we should all come out and tell our stories to the court so that he can be jailed for a long time."

But Maria wishes to see the real Thabiso "Skappie" Malatsi.

"I need closure and I think seeing him will satisfy me. I feel sorry for him that someone has been using his name in a bad way," she said.
